Get Involved

Become a Participant: If you’re a Black male over the age of 50, you can find the nearest free screening site on the Men’s Health Initiative’s schedule of events, or contact us.

Join the Mister-B. or Faith-CRC Projects: Barbershops and faith-based centers can host recruitment events, or support the NYU Men’s Health Initiative through advertising and marketing materials distribution.  To find out how to host an event or support our campaign, contact Helen Cole at helen.cole@nyumc.org or Jordan Plumhoff at jordan.plumhoff@nyumc.org.

Become a Volunteer:  Volunteers are an integral part of the NYU Men’s Health Initiative.  You can show your support by offering assistance at Mister-B. or Faith-CRC recruitment events (training is provided), liaising with participating organizations such as barbershops, churches and mosques, or supporting our advertising campaign efforts.  To learn more, contact Jordan Plumhoff at jordan.plumhoff@nyumc.org.
